Beware the Ides of March, indeed. Here is your weekly horoscope for the week of March 10, 2025: This week packs a massive punch with a pair of conjunctions, a Full Moon Lunar Eclipse in Virgo and Mercury’s retrograde turn. The astrology for the rest of March is particularly intense, so take note of the tone being set in your life this week, because it is likely to stay this way for a bit. The liminal space between Pisces and Aries is being highlighted for us all now. It’s resurrection energy - mysterious, intense and transformative. We are collectively moving through some shit, y’all! But at least we have more daylight now, am I right? The Moon starts the week waxing towards full. She’s in Leo through early Wednesday morning, when she enters Virgo for her Full Moon Lunar Eclipse showdown, which occurs overnight Thursday into Friday. Friday afternoon sees her trying to rebalance herself in Libra, where she spends the rest of the weekend.

Tuesday, March 11, 2025 - Mercury conjunct Venus Rx (8° Aries)

Mercury and Venus meet up today, marking the only time that they will cross paths during their respective, in-tandem retrogrades through Aries & Pisces. Venus has already been backtracking for a bit, and Mercury is about to reverse direction. They cover almost the exact same degree range during their cycles, so the emphasis that is being placed upon these transits cannot be overstated. Important conversations can take place now, but be cautious because more will certainly be revealed. Personal interaction and cooperation are strongly encouraged, even if the end result remains uncertain. The whole point of what you’re supposed to be learning from these overlapping retrograde cycles could be exposed now, especially if you have points or planets near 8° of Aries. Stay vigilant.

Wednesday, March 12, 2025 - Sun conjunct Saturn (22° Pisces)

You ever see a balloon deflate in dramatic fashion? That’s the energy we have on tap today, as the Sun meets up with Saturn for their annual conjunction. Saturn, as always, is a restrictive influence, and the Sun represents our overall vitality. So don’t be surprised if you simply feel depleted now - our mojos are most definitely lost for the next little while. On the flip side, hard work and dedication can pay off under this aspect, or you may be called upon to act as a leader, guide, teacher or mentor. Much depends on how devoted you’ve been since the last time these two met up: those who have towed the line can see themselves being promoted or recognized now; while those who have shirked their duties are more likely to suffer insecurity or hardship. Be mindful of the structures you’ve built up around you, because they may need to be shored up. Know that it’s common to feel sad, cold or isolated, and to have extreme difficulty expressing your true essence under this energy. It will pass, but don’t ignore any lessons that it brings up for you. Get to work so that you’re on the right side of this conjunction when it comes around again next year.

Friday, March 14, 2025 - Full Moon Lunar Eclipse (23° Virgo, 2:55 am); Sun sextile Uranus (24° Pisces to Taurus)

Eclipse season kicks off today, with our first eclipse along the Virgo/Pisces Axis. You may recall that the Nodes shifted onto this axis in January; from now until April of 2026, we will be called to release our more shadowy Virgo traits (e.g., neuroticism, perfectionist tendencies, control issues, being overly-critical) in an attempt to align more with Pisces energy (being in a flow state, tapped in creatively, following our intuition, etc.). Today brings us our first opportunity to do just that, with a lunar eclipse in Virgo. As usual, so much depends on where this eclipse is falling in your natal chart, and whether it is touching anything sensitive. But even if it’s not, we can all stand to surrender SOMEWHERE in our lives. Virgo is concerned with the mundane, day-to-day grind. Do you have any habits that are hindering your ability to get through your days with maximum efficiency? If so, start there! Just keep in mind that the events surrounding eclipses tend to bring fated change. As such, it’s the only time that your free will (to manifest or release something) may be overridden by the universe. Stay flexible. The Sun moves on to sextile Uranus, bringing some oddball energy to the day. You can get away with stepping off the beaten path now, which can help to dispel some of the tension from the lunar eclipse. In other words, go ahead and bark at the Moon if the spirit moves you. I’m sure hardly anyone will notice.

Saturday, March 15, 2025 - Mercury turns retrograde (9° Aries, 2:46 am)

I don’t know what being kicked in the balls feels like, but I am 100% certain that I’d rather experience that than deal with another Mercury retrograde. Alas, the universe gives zero fucks about what I want, so here we are. Let's recap:

Mercury entered his retrograde shadow back on March 1st, when he crossed over 26° Pisces for the first time. He will backtrack to that spot between now and April 7th, when he spins direct and covers these affected degrees for a third and final time. His movements are closely tied to Venus, who is also retrograde over this same general area, so there will undoubtedly be a blending of Venusian and Mercurial issues to watch for: themes around self-assertiveness (Aries) versus compassion (Pisces) will be at the forefront. Instead of rushing to judgment or speaking before we think (Aries), this retrograde will encourage us to practice the pause, and to consider the impact of our words more carefully (Pisces). As always, watch for miscommunications, general confusion and scheduling snafus. For the next little while, use discernment when weighing intuition versus logic, be willing to reflect and revise, and pay close attention to your dreams and subconscious insights. You may feel more attuned to your inner world with Mercury backtracking through Pisces, which can lead to revelations that bring you into more alignment when he returns to Aries in April.
